Tap to Pay on iPhone Now Available in Malaysia

April 22, 2026 · In-Person Payments Tap to Pay on iPhone is now live for Malaysian merchants. Accept all types of contactless payments right on your iPhone — no additional hardware needed.

Accept contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets using just your iPhone and the HitPay app. No card readers or terminals required.

There’s no need to invest in extra hardware to get started. With just an iPhone and the HitPay app, any Malaysian merchant can begin accepting contactless payments right away.

Privacy and security built in

Tap to Pay on iPhone uses the built-in security and privacy features of iPhone. Apple doesn’t store card numbers or PIN information on Apple servers, helping to protect your business and your customers’ data.

PIN transaction protection

Transactions that require PIN entry will automatically prompt a PIN entry screen. During the transaction, Tap to Pay on iPhone prevents all photo, video, screenshot, and screen recording features from capturing a customer’s card number or PIN.
