ShopBack Pay Now Available In-Store

May 26, 2026 · In-Person Payments ShopBack Pay Now Available In-Store HitPay merchants in Singapore can now accept ShopBack Pay at their physical store counters. Customers scan a QR code displayed on the HitPay POS terminal using the ShopBack app — no new hardware required. This uses a merchant-presented QR flow: the POS displays the QR, the customer scans and approves, and the payment confirms in real time.

How it works

  1. Customer reaches the checkout counter
  2. Merchant taps ShopBack Pay on the HitPay POS
  3. A QR code appears on the POS screen
  4. Customer opens the ShopBack app, scans the QR, and confirms payment
  5. POS shows payment confirmed

Limitations

  • Singapore only
  • Merchant-presented QR only (customer-presented QR not supported)
  • Minimum transaction: $2.00 SGD
  • Maximum transaction: $1,500.00 SGD

Refunds

Full and partial refunds are supported from the HitPay dashboard. Refunds are processed synchronously and the status updates immediately.
