Embed Alternative Payment Flows Directly in Your App

June 5, 2026 · API Embed Alternative Payment Flows Directly in Your App Three updates this release: direct link support for embedded payment flows, wallet top-up for Malaysia and Philippines merchants, and a simplified recurring billing API. If you build on HitPay’s API, you can now embed the full payment experience for alternative payment methods directly inside your own app or website, no redirect to HitPay’s hosted checkout page required. Pass generate_direct_link: true when creating a payment request and you’ll receive a ready-to-use URL pointing straight to the payment provider. Send customers directly to ShopeePay, GrabPay, Touch ‘N Go, and other APMs from your own UI. Try the embedded payments demo to see QR code and direct link flows in action before you integrate. See the full integration guide for implementation details.

Wallet top-up via DuitNow and QRPH

Merchants in Malaysia can now top up their HitPay MYR wallet balance via DuitNow, and merchants in the Philippines can top up their HitPay PHP wallet via QRPH. Wallet funds can be used to cover refunds and chargebacks.

Recurring billing API update

The amount field is no longer required when creating billing APM requests, and you no longer need to pass customer_name. This simplifies the setup for recurring billing flows.
