Payouts can only be done to one bank account, which is the default bank account. Your bank account details can be found at Settings > Bank Accounts. You can add another bank account here and make it your default; at any point, you can only have one default bank account. You can make a bank account default by checking the option “Use in HitPay” under the bank details.

Adding a new Bank Account for Payouts

Adding a bank account for payouts is a requirement upon completing the onboarding process for your Hitpay account. You will not be able to process payments until a bank account has been added to your account for payouts. You can follow the steps below if you want to add a new bank account or update your existing bank account details:

  • Navigate to Settings > Bank Accounts > Click Add bank account.
  • Please enter your bank account details accurately.
  • Tick the checkbox for Hitpay and/or Stripe if you want your Hitpay payouts and/or your Stripe payouts to be sent to this bank account.
  • Enter your account password and click “Create”.

Updating/Editing an existing bank account

  • Navigate to Settings > Bank Accounts > Click Edit bank account.
  • Please update the necessary bank account information
  • Tick the checkbox for Hitpay and/or Stripe if you want your Hitpay payouts and/or your Stripe payouts to be sent to this bank account.
  • Enter your account password and click “Save”.
Note: A bank account can only be deleted if it is no longer set for both Hitpay and Stripe payouts. If it is, the delete option will not be visible.
