Overview

The HitPay POS Lite (Sunmi V2S) and All-in-One (Sunmi V3) is a comprehensive point-of-sale solution designed for businesses seeking mobility and a feature-rich solution. This standalone terminal offers integrated card payments, in-built printing capabilities, and cellular connectivity. Sunmi V2S

Steps to set up Sunmi V2S/V3

  1. Turn on the Sunmi device by pressing the power key on the right-hand side.
  2. Once the device is switched on, you have the option of inserting a sim card or connecting to a wifi network.
  3. Once the wifi network is enabled and the device is ready for use, sign into Google PlayStore.
    You may use your own gmail account so you get updates or create a generic gmail account and sign in
  4. Launch the Sunmi App Store or Google Play Store and search for the HitPay Google Play App (Blue logo)

  5. Once the app is downloaded, log into the HitPay app using your HitPay credentials.
  6. Ensure bluetooth and location settings are turned on in the terminal
  7. Upon login, please wait for the app to automatically connect to the card reader function. Once this is completed, you will notice a connected status on the home page of the HitPay app.
  8. You can now start accepting payments using the Quick Sale or Products function from the home page.
  9. Select Tap to Pay or Card Terminal as the payment option for card reader payments

HitPay POS Max works with 58mm x 40mm printer rolls by default. However you can also use a 80mm x 40 mm thermal printer rolls.
  1. Open the printer cartridge & insert the printing roll paper in the correct direction.
  2. Please confirm which printer roll specification you are inserting to the terminal. If you are using 80mm x 40mm, you need to update the settings by going to Settings > SunmiPrinter > Paper Spec : 80mm > OK.
  3. To test the printer, open the HitPay app. Go to Settings > Printer > SunMi. Tap on “Test Print Connection”.

Steps to set up HitPay POS Card Terminal

  1. Go to Settings > Terminal
  2. If a popup is displayed to request location permission, click allow.
  3. The terminal will initiate connection, please wait until this is completed.
  4. When the terminal shows “Connected”, tap on “Done”.
Ensure your Sunmi device is on auto-update. This means that your tablet always has the newest software and bug fixes

Troubleshooting Tips

Lightly pull up the flap and push it all the way to the left
Head to Settings > Edit Business Details and Receipt Customization
Do quit the app by closing all apps, look for HitPay App, and open it up again
Tap and hold the credit card until you see a green tick on the terminal and the option to print.
Allow it to reconnect for about 5-10 seconds. If it is still reconnecting after 30 seconds: go to Settings > Terminal > click on Terminal number and Done
