HitPay enforces strict policies regarding the types of businesses and products permitted on our platform. These rules ensure compliance with local and international laws, financial partners, and card network guidelines.

The list below is representative but not exhaustive. HitPay reserves the right to reject or restrict any business that falls outside our risk tolerance.

You are responsible for complying with all local and international laws when using HitPay, regardless of your business’s country of operation.


Prohibited Businesses

The following types of businesses and activities are strictly not allowed on HitPay:

Illegal and Harmful Activities

  • Unlawful or fraudulent businesses
  • Products/services encouraging violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Child exploitation or trafficking
  • Human trafficking or prostitution
  • Malware, spyware, or malicious code
  • Unlicensed pharmaceuticals, steroids, narcotics, or controlled substances
  • Businesses selling personal data or facilitating deception (e.g., fake IDs)
  • Spy devices, GPS jammers, decryption tools, and descramblers
  • Sale of endangered animal products (e.g., ivory)

Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Counterfeit products or replicas
  • Unauthorized sale of branded goods
  • Pirated media (movies, music, software)
  • Any service facilitating copyright or trademark violation

Unfair or Deceptive Practices

  • Pyramid schemes and “get-rich-quick” offers
  • Fake endorsements, misleading claims, or refund avoidance
  • Click farms or artificial engagement services
  • Other predatory or dishonest business practices

Adult Content and Services

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content
  • Escort services, sensual massage parlors, and strip clubs
  • Sex-related products (strictly prohibited in Malaysia and Indonesia)
  • Bail bond services
  • Security brokerage or bankruptcy attorneys

Weapons and Dangerous Goods

  • Firearms, explosives, and ammunition
  • Toxic, radioactive, or flammable materials

Gambling and Lottery

  • Online gambling, sports betting, or lottery services

Cannabis and Marijuana Products

  • Dispensaries or cannabis-related businesses
  • CBD/THC-containing products

Tobacco and Smokable Products

(Applies to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and select other regions)

  • Cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and tobacco substitutes

Financial and Professional Services

  • Securities, forex, cryptocurrency trading or exchange
  • Sale/distribution of bonds, currencies, derivatives, and precious metals

Digital Assets and Cryptocurrencies

  • Cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
  • NFTs and mining services

Others

  • Drop shipping
  • Commercial aviation (charter, airline services)
  • Illegal timeshare schemes

Restricted Businesses

These businesses are not prohibited, but require additional documentation and manual review before activation:

  • Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platforms
  • Crowdfunding
  • Debt collection
  • Insurance and money service businesses

Government Services

  • Embassies, consulates, or public service payments

Medical and Health

  • Online pharmacies
  • Prescription-only medicine and medical devices
  • Aesthetic and regulated wellness products

Alcohol and Liquor

  • Alcohol-related businesses must submit licenses and comply with local regulations

Luxury and High-Value Goods

  • Jewellery, watches, collectibles, cars, art, antiques

Charities and Nonprofits

  • Religious organizations, charities, associations

Other Business Types

  • Real estate and construction
  • Gaming-related platforms (e.g., in-game credit)
  • Shipping brokers, trade platforms, aggregators
  • Import/export or wholesale goods dealers
