HitPay POS Lite (Sunmi V2S / V3)
Instructions on how to set up and use the Sunmi V2S.
Overview
The HitPay POS Lite is an All-in-One Card Terminal is a comprehensive point-of-sale solution designed for businesses seeking mobility and a feature-rich solution. This standalone terminal offers integrated card payments, in-built printing capabilities, and cellular connectivity.
Steps to set up HitPay POS Lite

Turn on the Sunmi device by pressing the power key on the right-hand side.

Once the device is switched on, you have the option of inserting a sim card or connecting to a wifi network.

Once the wifi network is enabled and the device is ready for use, sign into Google PlayStore.
You may use your own gmail account so you get updates or create a generic gmail account and sign in -
Launch the Sunmi App Store or Google Play Store and search for the HitPay Google Play App (Blue logo)

Once the app is downloaded, log into the HitPay app using your HitPay credentials.

Ensure bluetooth and location settings are turned on in the terminal

Upon login, please wait for the app to automatically connect to the card reader function. Once this is completed, you will notice a connected status on the home page of the HitPay app.

You can now start accepting payments using the Quick Sale or Products function from the home page.

Select Tap to Pay or Card Terminal as the payment option for card reader payments

- Open the printer cartridge & insert the printing roll paper in the correct direction.
- Please confirm which printer roll specification you are inserting to the terminal. If you are using 80mm x 40mm, you need to update the settings by going to Settings > SunmiPrinter > Paper Spec : 80mm > OK.
- To test the printer, open the HitPay app. Go to Settings > Printer > SunMi. Tap on “Test Print Connection”.
Steps to set up HitPay POS Card Terminal
- Go to settings > Terminal
- If a popup is displayed to request location permission, click allow.
- The terminal will initiate connection, please wait until this is completed.
- When the terminal shows “Connected”, tap on “Done”.
